One More Brain, Please

An octopus has 8 legs and 9 brains. In addition to the brain in its head, each leg has its own brain. So the leg can make judgment on its own. Even if a leg is cut off, a new leg grows together with a new brain.

The octopus is a species which is more evolved than me myself. I wish I had just one more brain. I often face an annoying situation because my word beats my thought. On each occasion I spray dark ink over my face before running away.

I wish my tongue had its own brain. I don't want to suffer dark ink by thinking a thought before speaking out. I envy the octopus which can cut off its tongue whenever it dislikes it.

뇌 하나 추가요

문어는 다리가 여덟 개인데 뇌는 아홉 개다 머리에 있는 두뇌 말고도 다리마다 그것을 담당하는 뇌가 하나씩 있다 그래서 다리가 스스로 판단할 수 있고 또 다리가 잘려나가더라도 새 다리가 나와 자라면서 뇌도 새로 생긴다

문어는 나보다 훨씬 진화한 종이다 나는 뇌가 딱 하나만 더 있으면 좋겠다 나는 아무 생각 없이 말이 먼저 나가서 난처한 상황에 빠지곤 한다 그때마다 나는 내 얼굴에 스스로 먹물을 뿌리고 도망친다

내 혀에도 뇌가 하나 붙어있으면 좋겠다 말하기 전에 생각부터 해서 이제 먹물을 그만 뒤집어쓰고 싶다 혀가 정 마음에 들지 않을 땐 잘라버려도 되는 문어가 부럽다.
